Ski Roundtop - The Capital area’s premier skiing destination has twenty trails at various difficulty levels, a snowtubing park that is great for the whole family, and an award-winning learn to ski and snowboard program. Its summit is at 1,335 feet and has a vertical drop of 600 feet. In total, 7 lifts will carry you to enjoy the 103 acres of skiable area at Roundtop.

Liberty - With similar statistics to its sister mountain, Roundtop, Liberty’s 620 ft vertical drop and 1,190 ft summit features 16 trails, half of them falling into the intermediate difficulty category. Tackle the mile-long Dipsy Doodle run or take the whole family to the Boulder Ridge Snow Tubing area before enjoying a warm meal at the resort’s two restaurants, The Tavern on the Green and The Inn.

Seven Springs - Sometimes, bigger is better. With an elevation of 3,000 ft and vertical drop of 750 ft, Seven Springs boasts 33 trails, 7 parks, 2 pipes, and 14 lifts. Visitors enjoy 285 acres of skiable terrain as well as the 1.3 mile-long trail, Lost Boy.

Elk Mountain - Located 30 miles north of Scranton in the Endless Mountains, the summit of North Knob hosts Elk Mountain Ski Area. With an elevation of 2,667 ft and a 925 ft vertical drop, Elk Mountain boasts the highest lift-serviced skiing in Eastern PA. Take advantage of the PSIA ski school to hone your skills or stop by the Winter Garden Restaurant for a bite to eat.

Jack Frost - Jack Frost boasts 20 trails and slopes with a terrain park and snow tubing center, served by 9 lifts. It also offers “glade skiing,” or skiing along tree-lined trails that offer scenic beauty. Often called the Upside Down Mountain, you’ll find the base lodge of Jack Frost at the summit of the mountain.

Bear Creek - Shred all 23 trails, tackle the four terrain parks, or go for a thrill ride down the 10-lane tube park at Bear Creek in Macungie, just 15 miles southwest of Allentown. Keep your eye out for Sasquatch, the most challenging black diamond trail with a 50% slope. On Friday, December 7th, 2018, visit Bear Creek for its Waking Winter event 6PM-12AM, a party for all ages that includes a bonfire, movie, swap sale, new winter gear, and a preview of new park rails.
