The Cumberland Valley Railroad Museum and the adjacent Conrail Museum serve as focal points for the Shippensburg Station trailhead of the Cumberland Valley Rail Trail. Located inside restored boxcars, the museums feature artifacts and archival materials explaining the role of railroads in Cumberland Valley's rich history.
