Long Live the King

The castle gates swing wide open on August 2 at the Mount Hope Estate for the 34th annual Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair.  It is 13 weekends of mirth and merriment amidst jousting knights and royal delights. A cast of hundreds of colorfully-costumed characters fill the Shire with music, dancing and more. With over 90 stage shows daily, 22 Royal Kitchens and scores of artisan merchants with handcrafted wares, the Renaissance Faire invites guests to experience the fantasy of knights and queens of bygone days. The Faire is held every weekend (Saturday and Sundays plus Labor Day Monday) from August thru the end of October. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate .
