Fall Festivals & Fun Await in Cumberland Valley

The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources estimates that peak fall foliage in southcentral PA will hit the fourth week of October in 2024. So, there's still plenty of time to plan your ultimate autumn getaway in Cumberland Valley!

This region truly comes alive in the fall, offering a vibrant escape filled with festivals, delicious food, brilliant foliage, and endless fun. Cruise along the back roads, where the dazzling colors of our landscape will have you saying "ooh" and "aah" at every turn. Be sure to stop by roadside stands for fresh-picked seasonal produce or head to local farm markets to pick your own apples and pumpkins, take a hayride, or get lost in a corn maze.

Festivals

Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest at Adams-Ricci Park in Enola on October 12 & 13, 2024, is a beloved family-friendly event featuring craft vendors, live entertainment, children’s activities, a car show (on Saturday), and an incredible variety of food vendors. Plus, admission and parking are free!

Fall Furnace Fest at Pine Grove Furnace State Park on October 19 & 20, 2024, offers food and craft vendors, live entertainment, historical demonstrations, hayrides, and the popular "Hairy Hand" program, where lit pumpkins are floated in the lake on Saturday evening.

Shippensburg Pumpkin Festival at the Shippensburg Fairgrounds from October 25-27, 2024, features live pumpkin carving, food trucks, craft vendors, live music, hayrides, and more.
