Discover PA's Summer Stock Theatres
What better way to wind down from a day exploring the outdoors than by enjoying a musical comedy. Pennsylvania is home to a number of summer stock theatres with all types of performances ranging from musicals to comedies to dramas. Many of these theatres use professional theatre companies. Below are few to check out this summer.
Since 1963, a rustic barn in Clinton County has operated the area's only professional summer stock theater and its full-scale productions with seasons running from mid-June through August. The 55th Anniversary Season of the Millbrook Playhouse features four main stage productions that kicks off mid-June with The Beauty and the Beast (June 15th-30). Other recognizable titles include Sister Act The Musical, To Kill a Mockingbird, and the hilarious I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change. With so many great options, talented performers and actors, and the historic venue of Millbrook's barn, how could we pick just one?
