B&B's in Pennsylvania
North West Pennsylvania
There’s no need for everyone in the car to agree when your travel party sets out for northwestern Pennsylvania. It’s not just about the well known Lake Erie waterfront but so much more--like the popular Splash Lagoon/Waldameer Water Park, the Erie Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Presque Isle Downs and Casino. You'll find historic sites like the birthplace of oil drilling at Oil Creek State Park and Titusville, enjoy destination shopping at Grove City, and find the rivers and lakes and forests at state parks like Pymatuning and Cook Forest. There's lakefront fun at Conneaut and active recreation like bicycle touring and kayaking.
In spite of all there is to do and see, the pace is low-keyed and laid back and if you keep your eyes open, you’re going discover the kinds of treasures (think antique shops and collectibles!) that don’t necessarily get a big display in the travel books.
And though the atmosphere is small town, Northwestern PA is less than three hours drive from a number of large metropolitan areas, including Cleveland, Akron, Youngstown, Mansfield, Canton, Wheeling, Johnstown, Altoona, Pittsburgh, State College, Olean, Buffalo, and Rochester. Better yet, northwest Pennsylvania has a cost of living that makes it one of the most affordable destinations in the northeastern U.S.
When you and your companions are ready to settle in for the evening, the innkeepers of northwestern PA are ready with comfortable accommodations and personalized hospitality. There PABBI member inns listed below are here for your comfort during your travel adventure to Northwest PA.
