Brandywine Valley Wine Trail
Spanning scenic southeastern Pennsylvania between historic Philadelphia and the Amish countryside of Lancaster County, the eight wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail are located within an easy drive of one another (within a 50 mile radius). All wineries are open year round each with a tasting room and unique characteristics. Visit www.bvwinetrail.com for a complete list of wineries.
The wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail are also within minutes of several nationally known attractions: Longwood Gardens, Brandywine River Museum, Brandywine Battlefield, Lancaster Amish Country, and Historic Kennett Square – The Mushroom Capital of the World.
Have a grape stompin’ good time at the Annual Harvest Festival to be held on last weekend of September and first weekend of October. Experience the sights and smells of harvest as the wineries of the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail celebrate the 2013 vintage. You’ll find grapes galore as the vineyards commence harvest activities. Enjoy live music to “sit n’ sip” or dance by, hayrides through the vineyards, BBQs, wine tasting tours, and the opportunity to learn about the region where Pennsylvania’s most stellar wines are being grown.
