The Levi Deal Mansion
Crowning Meyer's Avenue, a tree-lined thoroughfare with some of the oldest and grandest houses in Meyersdale, the Deal Mansion was home to local coal and timber baron Levi Deal and his family. The Mansion, built in 1900, has a unique architectural style “Victorian Chateauesque” which was the most opulent of the Victorian Era and showcased the owner’s wealth. Today, exquisitely restored, the Mansion offers four guest rooms decorated in elegance and grandeur of the Gilded Age, but with modern conveniences. Each room has its own private bath some with Jacuzzi tubs and triple-sheeted king and queen beds offering the highest quality for a restful night. Each morning, enjoy a Chef’s Choice breakfast. After a day of riding The Great Allegheny Passage, relax on the graceful wrap-around porch with a complementary adult beverage.
